Siemens recently launched the most comfortable, advanced, and stylish open-fit BTE of its kind – the LIFE. The LIFE family brings to you a selection of trendy colors and patterns to match your personality, or for a more subtle look you will find a variety of skin and hair tones to choose from. LIFE's open design has proven to be a remarkably comfortable fit – you will no longer feel like you are “talking into a barrel”, and it eliminates the “plugged-up” feeling also known as occlusion. The smart technology offers wearers true freedom and clarity in any situation with newly enhanced features -- the best speech intelligibility in noisy environments, the smoothing of loud instantaneous sounds (ie. glass breaking, clapping, door slamming, etc), advanced electronic reduction of wind noise, Feedback Blocker, and adaptive melody beeps which ensure you can always hear the audible beeps no matter what the noise level is around you. LIFE is available in 4 different technology levels – the Life 701, Life 501, Life 301, and the Life 101.

Product Highlights:

•  Color Conversion - 16 color plate options to choose from. You can mix and match any plate color with another for a completely personalized hearing instrument to match any style 
•  DataLogging - collects information on hearing preferences such as duration of use, volume changes, and program usage that can be used for more accurate future programming needs 
• Sound Smoothing - the first and only sound suppression system that reduces annoying impulsive non-speech sounds such as the rustling of paper, the clanking of dishes, breaking glass – while leaving speech signals intact. It can actually detect the difference between human voice patterns and non-speech sounds, and will enhance the voice signals by suppressing the non-speech sounds 
• e2e Wireless 2.0 - synchronize the signal processing of both hearing instruments so that they operate simultaneously as one unit. This means that the two instruments are always properly balanced so you hear and identify sounds better (compatible with ProPocket and ePen remotes) 
• Remote Controls (optional accessory) – volume adjustment, program changes, control without fuss, as well as instrument status (including battery power level) can be made with the touch of a button (available in ProPocket Remote and ePen Remote)
•  Open-Fit Design - this is the most natural and comfortable style available. The special vented ear piece allows your ear canal to remain open-feeling, and you will not experience occlusion (the sensation that your ear is plugged or that you are talking into a barrel). Also the compact design of the BTE, paired with the thin tube, allows this type of instrument to be the most discreet BTE style available.
